Terms of Service

takeabreakfrom.ai is a wellness and journaling app that offers a short daily exercise and private reflection. It is for general well-being only. It is not medical, psychological, or clinical advice, and is not a substitute for professional care.

An account is optional. If you create one, you're responsible for activity under it. Sign-in is passwordless (magic link or Google), so keep access to your email secure.

• The core app is free. Premium is an optional paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Don't misuse the app — no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security, scrape, or disrupt the service, and no infringing or harmful content.

Your reflections are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the app for you — storing and syncing them, and (for Premium features you choose to use) processing them to generate your insights. We don't claim ownership and don't use them to train AI models. The app itself, its design, and content are owned by us.

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome will result from its use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Journey, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
